Technology Syndrome...Headaches and Neck Pain!
Ask yourself the following questions: Do you have pain at the TMJ ( front of the ear) ? Do you have pain along the jaw line ? Do you have limited and or painful opening of the mouth ? Do you have any clicking or popping of the mouth when talking or chewing ? Yes to any of these questions likely means you are having TMJ / TMD issues.
TMJ actually stands for Temporo-mandibular-joint. Temporo = The temporal bone of your skull that receives your lower jaw bone. Mandibular = Lower jaw bone that fits into the Temporal bone. Joint = The connective tissue (ligaments, disc, muscles) that connect the mandible and temporal bones. Technically you have two TMJ's, one on each side of the face.

It's a toss up between this question and "What type of bed should I get?" for the most commonly asked question in the office! As you have probably already surmised, there is no "one size fits all" answer to this question!
You can do it anywhere! If you find it difficult at first, keep at it. You will see improvement faster than you think. It is an easy way to train both balance and core muscles without a lot of movement.
